A Sad Halloween

Halloween is one of our favorite holiday.

Throughout our family history, Halloween is even more important than Christmas. More decorations, more traditions.

Bonfires, parties, 'ancestor' dinners and even tarot readings for the new year were a big part of our family Halloweens.

Unfortunately this year, both girls caught a local virus and became bedridden. Poor things. It is the first time in 20 years their either of them have been this ill.

We did, however have our holiday tarot reading. Each person thinks what question they would like to ask about the coming year. My oldest's question was 'will always be sick" Obviously we let her have another turn.  Overall, everyone had wonderful readings with positive things, especially for our youngest who is in college.

Its sort of sad really. It was actually too quiet this evening.
